Instruction;

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan or line it with parchment paper. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy using an electric mixer. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the buttermilk. Start and end with the dry ingredients, mixing just until combined after each addition. Be careful not to overmix. Gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, smoothing the top with a spatula. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Once baked, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, you can serve the chocolate chip cake as is, or frost it with your favorite frosting, such as chocolate buttercream or cream cheese frosting. You can also dust it with powdered sugar for a simple finishing touch. Slice and enjoy! Note: Feel free to adjust the amount of chocolate chips to your preference. You can also add chopped nuts, such as walnuts or pecans, if desired.
